This “Jersey Red Ensign” flag crossed the Atlantic with the Eye of the Wind and signaled the ship’s home port over many nautical miles. Winds and storms have weathered the flag down to the Jersey coat of arms, featuring the three leopards of Normandy and the Plantagenet crown superimposed on it.

The hoist, that is, the side of the flag to which it was attached by the flagline, is 45 cm high. The upper and lower metal eyelets for attachment are still present. Of the flying part — the part of the flag that flutters in the wind — 80 cm remains at its widest point.

This original flag is ideal as a maritime decorative item or as an original way to present the travel voucher worth 50 euros included in this package. The voucher is valid for a sailing trip on the Eye of the Wind, is transferable and is valid for three years from the date of issue.
