Eckernf\u00f6rde\u2019s town harbour is the starting point for this trip, which <strong>takes us through Eckernf\u00f6rde Bay and across the Fehmarn Belt to L\u00fcbeck Bay<\/strong>. Depending on the weather conditions, <strong>stop-offs along the Schleswig-Holstein coast or in southern Denmark<\/strong> may also be possible. Which places are actually visited depends on the wind and weather \u2013 the route remains flexible.<\/p>\n<p>A selection of possible port calls:<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In <strong>Kiel<\/strong>, maritime charm blends with the city\u2019s vibrant history. A stroll takes you through the city centre and along the fjord, where ships and harbour facilities characterise the cityscape. Those with more time to spend on land can explore museums, caf\u00e9s and the waterfront promenade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Orth on Fehmarn<\/strong> is a small, particularly charming harbour town. It\u2019s lovely to take a leisurely stroll around the harbour; sailing boats, caf\u00e9s and the view of the water make a stay here a welcome break from everyday life on board. The surrounding area is perfect for exploring the island\u2019s coastal landscape.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">In <strong>Neustadt in Holstein<\/strong>, the historic town centre meets the bustling harbour. The old town is ideal for a leisurely stroll, whilst at the harbour you can really get a feel for the town\u2019s maritime life.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\"><strong>Travem\u00fcnde<\/strong> welcomes its visitors with a seaside resort atmosphere and a wide promenade. Among the well-known sights are the Old Lighthouse and the Passat, the historic four-masted sailing ship moored at Priwall, which, incidentally, was built in the same year as our Eye of the Wind.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">On board, too, the voyage becomes a shared experience: all guests are welcome to <strong>take an active part in sailing<\/strong> on a voluntary basis and \u2013 accompanied by the crew \u2013 even <strong>steer the boat themselves<\/strong>. No prior experience is necessary; those who prefer to watch and enjoy the sea air are just as welcome.<\/p>\n<p>The food on board is particularly delicious and makes sharing meals together a lovely part of the holiday experience. With your energy replenished, you can enjoy the next day\u2019s sailing even more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"translation-block\">The itinerary includes arrival in L\u00fcbeck on Friday morning (16 April).
