Elsfleth

During your stay in Elsfleth, you will experience the maritime atmosphere of the Lower Weser region: The harbour, shipbuilding companies and shipping companies as well as the shipping museum, which is well worth a visit, are reminders of the maritime heritage of the small town on the banks of the Outer Weser.

Elsfleth - the North German charm Small town on the Hunte and Weser enchants with its maritime flair and inviting atmosphere. Here you can feel the proximity to the water in the harbour and enjoy the colourful hustle and bustle of the ships. The impressive Hunte barrage invites you to take a walk and reveals impressive views of the interplay between nature and technology. The St Nicolai Church rises in the centre of the city and tells of centuries of history. In the green city park is a relaxed place to linger - a place where tranquillity and joie de vivre meet. For the Eye of the Wind every visit to Elsfleth in the Wesermarsch A journey into its own past, as the ship named Friedrich was launched just a few kilometres from this location in 1911.
