Helmsman: Alex

I grew up in the Midlands of England, far away from the sea, and discovered my passion for sailing at university. This passion became my profession after a sailing trip from Amsterdam to Lisbon. I started my career as a trainee and worked my way up to first mate. In recent years, I have sailed around the world – from Australia to the United Kingdom and Norway – gaining experience on various traditionally rigged ships and facing the challenges of life at sea.

I love the adventurous nature of our voyages and the opportunity to explore new and interesting places. One of the best aspects of my job is meeting people from all walks of life, as both our crew members and guests come from all over the world, making every trip a unique and rewarding experience.
