Your trainer on the Eye of the Wind: Marit Zenk
Marit Zenk is THE MAC - Management Consultant by land, air and sea.
She has been at home in the top echelons since 1996 and has been in and out of them as an entrepreneur since 2008. She also coaches at the top level, trains assistants and advises managers from various companies of different sizes and industries in the D-A-CH region.
She knows both sides only too well and has a keen interest in the performance of both employees and employers. As a business coach and train-the-trainer, she works on all levels of personality to bring out the best. She is usually on site with her clients or, in co-operation with a pilot in the cockpit, helps the successful team of boss and assistant to achieve interactive "high performance".

about our management training courses
How does our leadership training on board work?
We have a top coach on board who will conduct workshops with you on leadership understanding, constructive cooperation, perception sharpening and the most important aspects of successful leadership. Of course, active participation on board is not neglected. In the roles of captain, helmsman or deckhand, you will experience all positions in the company. Our regular crew will be at your side to provide expert support.
During training, you can actively – and always on a voluntary basis – take part in the sailing manoeuvres. In this way, you will learn in a practical way what you can learn from the captain and his crew about the structures of leadership and teamwork.
You will spend most of your time on deck of the sailing ship and learn about the challenges of everyday life on board, where you will also put your leadership skills to the test. Entertaining theory sessions in the lower deck saloon take place before the ship sets sail in the morning and after docking in the late afternoon. This will enable you to transfer your own experiences to your everyday working life.
What are the advantages of this management training programme?

The content is not only taught in theory, but is also put into practice to meet the requirements of real business situations.
During the sailing manoeuvres, a decisive approach, focus on the goal, clear communication, teamwork and an appreciative approach are immediately rewarded with success and thus remain firmly anchored.
In what waters does the ship sail during leadership training?
Our management training courses are usually planned to take place on the German North Sea and Baltic Sea coasts.
We would like to make your journey and the effort involved in taking part in the guiding seminar at sea as uncomplicated as possible. Both the North Sea and the Baltic Sea are considered two of the most beautiful sailing areas and are popular among sailors from all over the world.
However, the Eye of the Wind is on the move all year round and also sails in the Mediterranean, around the Canary Islands and in the Caribbean during the winter months. Please feel free to contact us at any time if you are interested.
