I grew up in Germany, in a small town right on the Baltic coast. This is where I learnt the trade of cookery. After my training, I went to Austria for two years. After returning from the mountains, I moved to Hamburg, where I worked as a chef in various restaurants.
I took up sailing around 2017 and have been hooked ever since. In 2024, I decided to combine my two passions and sign on to my first sailing ship.
