The Falmouth Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Race
Mark your calendar for the voyage of a lifetime …
This summer, the sight of white sail tips along the river Thames will herald a landmark moment in history when two English ports will together host one of the biggest international sailing events in solely English waters for the first time ever.
The Falmouth to Royal Greenwich Tall Ships Regatta 2014 will see a fleet of more than 30 Tall Ships from around the world arrive in the port of maritime Royal Greenwich for three days of festivities from 6th to 8th September.
During the celebrations, people will be able to go on-board and experience the sights, sounds and smells of life on-board these majestic ships where fortunes, careers and lives have been won and lost. There'll also be a packed schedule of onshore activities including exhibitions, children’s activities, live music, a colourful ship’s crew parade and a spectacular firework finale.
Enjoy the on-shore activities right in the centre by spending a night or two on board of a real Tall Ship. Our mooring spot is at Victoria Deep Water Terminal, close to "The O2". You will stay in a double or single cabin aboard the brigantine 'Eye of the Wind' and will enjoy your breakfast in a maritime harbour scenery.
