Discovery trip: Firth of Clyde and Southern Hebrides

We explore the Scottish west coast in easy-to-sail daily stages. The starting point of this discovery trip is the port city of Greenock at the mouth of the River Clyde. The Firth, which cuts far into the land, its tributaries and islands offer many opportunities to explore this unique coastal area. Days at sea alternate with evenings at anchor or port stops with plenty of time to go ashore. The destination of this voyage is the seaside town of Oban, which is considered the gateway to the Hebrides. Here in the southern part of the archipelago, where the weather is considered to be rather capricious, we mostly sail within sight of the coast.

The Eye of the Wind sails the world's oceans all year round. But as different as the sailing areas are, the individual cruises have many things in common in terms of the procedures on board.
