Plymouth has a special significance in the history of the Eye of the Wind, as it was here in 1978 that the circumnavigation of the globe began as part of a scientific expedition under the patronage of HRH The Prince of Wales (now King Charles III). Now, the English port city is the starting point for a two-week Atlantic voyage. The vast ocean provides fresh sailing winds and healthy sea air. Fourteen days on board and at sea – time for you to experience an unforgettable active sailing vacation while getting to know the ship as a place of peace and relaxation. Our destination is Madeira, the colorful “flower island” in the Atlantic.
