The sailing ship Eye of the Wind has been cruising the world's oceans for 114 years. On Sunday, 11 May, the tall ship, which has also been used as a film set in several Hollywood productions, can be visited. As part of an "open ship", the crew will answer questions about the ship and its history from all seafarers, ship lovers and young sea dogs. All visitors can try out sailor's knots and collectors will of course also receive a smart ship's stamp.
The "open ship" is expected to take place in Sandtorhafen/Traditionsschiffhafen in the Speicherstadt (underground station Überseequartier / bus stop Magellan-Terrassen). Subject to change at short notice.
Admission is free.
Please note: There is no day cruise on the "open ship"; the ship remains moored at its berth. Registration or booking is not necessary for participation in the "open ship".
